Dupont 35mm film

I am assembling material about infrared negative black & white films and one of the brands that used to have such a film was Dupont de Nemours. However I can't find detailed information about Dupont negative 35mm film, so if anyone knows something or has images of Dupont 35mm cartridges let me know. Specifically I am looking for the date of introduction of Dupont's infrared film.

It's a long shot, but you might want to contact Dupont's corporate relations.  Major corporations in the US have historians, but they can be hard to find.

Interestingly both Eastman Kodak and Agfa (or rather their museums/archives) are very helpful, in both caes they tell me the infrared negative film on 35mm were introduced in 1935, which is rather late. Ilford can't tell me the year but their first infrared red plates were introduced in 1932.

Not sure, Paul, but it was mentioned in literature of 1935, 1938 and 1939.

Daniel informed me that unfortunately there is nobody at Dupont who has the information I am looking for. He recommend the Hagley Museum so I contacted them.

Are you looking for information on Dupont or Defender? They were separate corporations for a while. 
 

Defender made a lot of ads on magazines. Maybe to follow the ads can give you an idea about.

Dupont produced and marketed 35mm film, also infrared. I am looking for information and images of that part.
