I don't think this can help anyone.

I prefer to shoot in black and white. But sometimes color shots from the M11 irritate me - even after processing in Photoshop, the color rendition is still much inferior to the X2D.

Don't you think the correction should get a bit more WB correction? It looks like a late afternoon before sunset, should be warmer.

This is a photo without any processing. Of course, I can take this photo manually at sunrise, sunset, and even at midnight)

In Leica, they look at the settings of the dng file. For them, the deviation of color from the normal color balance is also obvious.

By the way, this photo in b/w even won some award this year. If I'm not mistaken, in London.

In bright Southern California sunlight, I see a trace of the dreaded porphyria in my new M11.  Maybe I can send it to a Swiss clinic for a cure.  If not, I will need to teach myself to play the Adobe/C1 sliders like a xylophone. I’d rather take up the violin again and enroll in a solfège-for-seniors class.

Missing my M10.  Dynamic range is overrated.

After some considerable time and effort, I’ve figured out enough about color balance options on the M11 to be very happy with them.  Usual qualifications apply (just my own M11, YMMV etc.). There was a steeper learning curve than I’d expected even after immersing myself in this thread. Happy with results I’m getting now.

And FW 2.5.1 installed itself uneventfully today in Fotos to boot.
