She is a superb actor, married to a national treasure of a playwriter/actor.  Beautifull photo.  To give you an idea of whether we've been watching it:  It's light and a bit soapy but we avidly persist.  7 of the women in the cast are Broadway performers whom we've had the pleasure of seeing on stage, and one of them (Kelly O'Hara) made a cameo appearance in a dream last night.

Tell us about your shooting her.

We feel the same about the soapy nature of the show but we are avid Carrie fans and will watch anything she's in. The same goes for Tracy.

Carrie and I became friends when she was working on her MFA in Theatre & Drama at the University here. I did all of the photography for the department. She also had roles with Madison Repertory Theater, another of my clients, and the American Players Theatre, which I shot for occasionally. In all, I photographed her in about 20 productions. I could tell from the first time I saw her on stage that she was going to end up with her name in lights. The photo posted here is an outtake from a session we did when she was trying to get an audition for a movie. She didn't get called but I imagine the studio regretted that later.

Carrie also was very interested in b&w photography so I brought her to my darkroom one day where I taught her how to process film and make prints. She left Madison soon after so I don't know if she followed through on that. My hunch is that she would absolutely love the M11M or Q2M, although she is already balancing a busy career with raising a young daughter and son.
