The 24 Elmarit is smaller but the Lux just renders so nicely and its also pretty easy to focus. Framing the street is also simple as its 'just off the edge of the finder' with the added advantage that no one thinks you are including them in the shot. Some images that show what I mean... jaeger Posted November 2, 2023 Share #3  Posted November 2, 2023 Many leicamen hated 24mm so much saying it's an unorthodox leica focal length. I still don't get it but found it very laughable but anyway. Yeah man, me too I love 24lux and 50lux (the previous version). The 24lux is now a cine lens that cost about $11,000 USD these days. I wounder who would purchase it...   Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
