What happens if you remove that aperture entirely? Assuming it’s there for a reason, there must be a consequence.

Thanks so much for your feedback! Just wanted to share that I ultimately went for the MP chrome. Currently, I'm using it without batteries. However, I'm thinking of switching to an M-A. I prefer the Black chrome and That double-step shutter button because of the LM is a bit of a bother. Also shooting without the red dots blinking is a really nice experience!
