I was curious if anyone uses M mount adapters for other lenses. I mainly zone focus with an M1. The adapters peeked my curiosity with the multitude of wide angle lenses out there, one could easily pick up 15mm - 28mm on the cheap. I saw they have a Minolta MD adaptor, I’ve always liked the Rokkor lens.

I use SLR lenses for very long on my M.

Canon, Leica R, Nikon, Contax, Olympus, etc.

But the best results are native Leitz/Leica M lenses, they are tiny and give top quality/usability.

It took me a while to realize that my adapter strategy was wrong. I have a Lumix Gx8 and adapters for LTM, Leica M, C/Y, M42, 4/3", Leica R, Minolta MD, Canon FD
I also have a R-M adapter and several LTM-M adapters.
Then I bought a Leica SL and now have a M-L and R-L adapter as well as R-M adapter..

Now I realize that if I had bought one good Leica M - MFT adapter for the GX8 with all the rest as adapters to M, that I would have access to all my lenses with one set of additional adapters. As long as the base M adapter is good, stacking adapters is no issue for most lenses.

So now I will only buy more adapters to M for my lenses. And for each new system that I have, I will buy a M adapter.

I already started with one adapter M-Nikon Z. It gave me the opportunity to try my LTM, M, Visoflex and R lenses on a friends Nikon Z6II.
