cozmopak Posted September 23, 2023 Share #1 Posted September 23, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can anyone explain to me what the differences are, if any? I have seen some listings on the secondary market highlighting the fact that the camera was made for the USA market, as though this was a positive attribute. Qwertynm Posted September 23, 2023 Share #2 Posted September 23, 2023 I‘d wager a guess and say this has to do with warranty. Pretty sure they are identical otherwise.

cozmopak Posted September 24, 2023 Author Share #5 Posted September 24, 2023 I thought that the Leica warranty only applies to the original owner is not transferrable?

The international warranty is irrespective of ownership. Leica is a German company and such a proviso is illegal in the EU. if you are in the USA and your warranty gets refused you can send the camera to Wetzlar.
