Some chairs in the Remembrance Garden of the very moving (and quite remarkable) 'Cross Bones Post-Mediaeval Burial Ground' on Redcross Way, Southwark, London.

The story behind the place - some of which  can be discerned from the writings on the panels - is extraordinary*. If you are curious then please do have a read what the texts on the panels say and there will be a link a link at the bottom which gives a little bit more info about the place and about the 'Winchester / Southwark Geese'.

The 'Marshalsea Prison' seen, on the map, just to the lower-left of the central White-Goose-on-Red-Square motif was a notorious Debtor's Prison made famous / infamous through the writings of Charles Dickens whose own father was incarcerated there and which institution was a central theme of his novel 'Little Dorrit'.
