Ludders Posted August 3, 2023 Share #1 Posted August 3, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great news for fellow astigmatism suffers, just got my Elite Eyepiece from Walter which screws into my M10-R eyepiece and corrects my vision. Great service, hand made by Walter within a week following my order and sharing my prescription, and delivered to my door within 4 days of dispatching from SA to the UK. Great service, great craftsmanship, worth every penny. https://walterleica.com/walter-elite-eyepiece/

Jeff S Posted August 3, 2023 Share #2 Posted August 3, 2023 I prefer using glasses, as my astigmatism remains when my eye isn’t against the VF, and sunglasses further protect from cataracts and address my light sensitivity. Also no fiddling with eyepiece orientation. Plus, with aging eyes, an additional +.5 diopter optimizes focusing, which could only be determined by trial diopters. I only wish there was a way to lock the orientation (I use a bit of camera tape to keep it from shifting/turning).
