Do you Tripod or hand hold? - Poll

Oh well; out of step again. I use a tripod for 90% of shots. I like the discipline of tripod shooting with landscapes, and being long sited I use a viewing loup to check the histogram and the image. At one stage I was using a black view-camera cloth to examine the screen image. But handheld, I can shoot fast too.

Handhold almost always. I do have a Leica tabletop tripod which I sometimes use if I need stable shots.

 

I'm with Carsten on this one. At 70 years old and with early stage Parkinsons's disease hand shake is a problem for me. The Leica table top tripod, used as a chest brace, clears almost all of my shake issues. Not pretty but it works. For landscape shots I just put the M8 on my Gitzo 1228 with an Arca Swiss compatible ball head (RRS B55) and all is well!

 

The shot is everything.......how you look is meaningless!
