Pyrogallol Posted June 17, 2023 Share #1  Posted June 17, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I could not find a thread dedicated to the Leitz Minolta CL. I bought one recently with three other regular Leica CLs, along with the 40mm Rokkor lens to go with it. I tested it out with Rollei 400 Infrared film. These are copies of some darkroom prints. TomB_tx Posted June 17, 2023 Share #4 Â Posted June 17, 2023 Very nice! I picked up a used Leica CL w/40mm Summicron in the late 1970s and it became my main travel vacation camera. Gave great results. Also picked up the 90 f4 C lens - equally good. Loved the light weight setup. Had the sticky meter repaired a decade ago, and it's still doing fine.

Pyrogallol Posted June 17, 2023 Author Share #6 Â Posted June 17, 2023 Yes, if a design team had presented Barnack with a prototype the size of that R8 he would have sent them off to think again.
