2mme Posted June 17, 2023 Share #1  Posted June 17, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone, Do you know if an IR filter with e44 thread has ever been produced? Or by the 6 series (to be used with adapter ring)? I have an old Summicron-R 1:2/50 (cod.11228) with this diameter and I can't find anything compatible (not even, alternatively, a normal red filter)... 😞

Use these cine mod adapters to convert from the S6 series thread to E80 mm. Be careful S6 uses a different pitch than E44 so finding a E44 filter would not completely solve the issue. https://www.precisious.fr/fr/bagues-d-objectif-frontales-lens-mod/20-612-ring-cine-77mm-80mm-od-adaptateur-lens-mod.html#/151-diametre-s6 2. Find a S6 holding ring and use an appropriate size of E-filter to hold it (without screwing it in) Leica filters will work best because their rim is thinner. Also, using the E filter upside down will be necessary.

It will rattle a bit but should not fall out. Welcome, dear visitor!
