Happy end: the dealer took the camera back and refunded the money. Tried my luck with another M4-P in even better cosmetics which then had very sloppy shutter times so off, that 1/8s was running as fast a 1/125s... Returned to the dealer as well without any discussion this time... Maybe i have a bad karma for M4-P´s...

Sounds like that dealer is selling junky cameras.  I'd avoid that place.

I would only buy a camera that had a recent CLA done by a well-known technician. If you are located in Europe, I can recommend Alexander Görlitz/Foto Görlitz. Not cheap but  realistic and reliable. I bought from him an M4-P, which does what it should do because it received a recent CLA.

And to be clear, the M4-P is as good as any other M. No need to deviate from your original idea.
