george + Posted August 21, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 21, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Working on a new skylight. D-2, PS CS2. and I wanted to send an image. Got this message on a file that is less than the specified max dimensions. Tried it many times. Checked the file size. As prescribed. This silly message comes up: 06-08-18-Skylight-055--smal.jpg: The Dimension limits for this filetype are 960 x 960. We were unable to resize your file so you will need to do so manually and upload it again. Your file is currently 1920 x 2560. Wrong.Wrong. Wrong. Every single time. Enjoy. fotografr Posted August 22, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2006 George--When you "Save For Web" you need to adjust the quality slider to insure the photograph is less than 250k. Also, the dimension of the longest side needs to be 900 pixels or less. Hope this helps. Cheers,
jmr Posted August 22, 2006 Share #3 Posted August 22, 2006 Almost correct Brent The picture can be up to 960 pixels a side and the max file size is strangely 244.1kB
george + Posted August 22, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted August 22, 2006 Many thanks for your comments. The picture was adjusted for both size and volume. I mean side dimendions less than 950 and quality such that it came under 200k. Ugh . . . May try experimenting more tomorrow.
