Yesterday a strange error appeared when saving a dng-file (the jpg is ok!). Since there are curves in the distorted area this error can not be created by the SDCARD. I already contacted Leica-support.

When opening this file in Darktable it is opened without applying lens correction profiles it seems, that it might be an SDCARD-based error, right?

Solved! It was nor the camera nor the sdcards fault. I transferred the photos with Leica FOTOS to may smartphone and from there to my Mac. Since the file is already distorted on my smartphone I assume there is no cheksum test when transferring files from the Q3 to a smartphone.

Happened a couple times for me. Wasn't as serious but only at the bottom of the image.

If it was not corrupt when viewed in the app there is nothing wrong with the camera. So firmware has nothing to do with it.
You must look for an error that happens in the chain of transmission of the file. It also looks like the conversion software is not reading the correction instructions in the raw file. This accounts for the bent aspect.
