Just received mine on Tuesday, 19 June via FEDEX from Samy’s Camera out of Los Angeles, California. They told me I'd be part of the first batch if i ordered sooner since they're a smaller store but they're a leica partner and got some allocation for it. They told me I was third in line and it finally shipped today. Expecting it tomorrow! I had preorders at 715 PST with B&H and Samy's Camera but canceled them after I ordered with B&C, just felt like i was way too late with bigger name stores. There will be one shipment coming in next week, but I have no chance to grab mine from that batch. I don’t know the other part of Asia, but in Taiwan, it seems to be only one shipment per month with unknown units per shipment. Kind of anxious and thinking of getting M11 now, instead of Q3. Ordered mine in the evening of launch day from Clifton Cameras. 2 weeks ago when I checked I was no. 6 on their list and they said an estimate of anywhere from 2-6 weeks. But then I saw some people saying their camera shipped out around the 21st and I got to thinking that maybe they got the 25-26 shipment early? I’ve pretty well given up calling or emailing b&h directly because they have no interest in telling me anything other than they can’t tell me anything. getting pretty tired of waiting but don’t want to cancel and then find out I would’ve gotten my camera soon. I called them yesterday. When the guy pulled up my order he said “oh wow”. I said what? He said “wow, we have a lot of people waiting.” I asked do you think I’ll be part of the next batch that he get? He said “I’m not sure but it seems unlikely due to the amount of people before you.” I ordered at 2PM May 25th. He wouldn’t tell me how many people are before me but his reaction when he first saw the back order list is enough for me. I think it will be August before they get up to 2PM since they are up to 10am now. I wish I had it now for an upcoming trip but whatever, I knew this going into it. I just wish I ordered earlier.
