Yes, I do use Lightroom. 99.9% of everything I do is done in Lightroom. You have to correct with buildings and vertical lines in view, certainly if you point your camera a bit up or down. It is not always possible to correct it, mostly because you would lose to much like the tip of a tower, that detail on the side, etc. But with a 28 (26!) mm it is not that extreme. In most cases I think it improves the image if you correct it. Aren't you using LPC? It works really well, and helps with framing. You mean that in camera trapezium thing? For me as a street photographer it is a very annoying feature to be honest. If I would be aiming for architecture it could help, but I rather make sure my camera is horizontal and the rest is experience. If I end up missing something after correcting the perspective, I simply did not take the image; nobody will ever see it. Our little secret! 😁

Yes, in some situations, it is annoying, but it should work quite well for something like the image in #4821. I only have three buttons to assign. Those are taken by resolution (61/36/18), autofocus mode and exposure metering. All more important to me. 😉 For an image like #4821b I certainly do not need it; that is basically shooting straight. It is more helpful for churches, a town square, etc. I think. By the way; you only have to correct the perspective; the lines the Q3 28 produces are so straight I never ever had to do more!

Aram Langhans Posted December 29, 2024 Share #4852 Posted December 29, 2024 (edited) Our guide at the California Citrus Museum in Riverside, CA. He is holding a Buddha's Hand. Interesting tour with a nice visitor's center display. And as you walk through the groves you get to sample the different varieties of citrus. My wife even ate a kumquat, which surprised the heck out of me. Welcome, dear visitor!
