One of the few shots when people were not getting in the way. (The end of his song.)

Just back from a trip and have some catching up to do, I see when I have some time.

Here is a grain elevator by Walla Walla, WA I took on the first day of our trip.  I have played with it and I think I like it in B&W, so here it is.

wow.  Now that I see it posted it looks a bit too contrasty.  Way more so than on my monitor in Lightroom.  I might have to tone it down a bit depending on any comments.

A more typical shot than that shown earlier -- with audience in a hurry to catch a train.

A close up of the performer, having a good time -- without his "audience".

It doesn't look too contrasty to me.

It looks great on my monitor. Coincidentally, I lived in Walla Walla for a year when I was in the third grade. Our family moved there from Portland, then went back to Portland after a year. Nice little town.

A few barns around the small towns of Joseph and Enterprise in Eastern Oregon.  An unusual barn with the enclosed hay hood over the opening to the loft.  At least it is unusual for around the Pacific Northwest. In this first one the cows were my friends.  I think they thought I as going to feed them.

Could not get close to this one, so shot it through the fence for a bit of framing.  It kind of works for me.

More of my friends.  These guys followed me back and forth as I walked along the fence to get different views, and they made a lot of noise the whole time.  I was afraid the farmer was going to come out of his house with a shotgun to see what all the racket was about.

C'est vraiment une image très puissante ; mais en N et B je trouve les nuages trop menaçants.
