Christ on a bike! Ansel Adams just rolled over in his grave.

Blasphemy is not necessary. See here, where it quotes Adams saying: "some of us instinctively 'see' better in color". I am one of those.  It should be noted that he was also dissatisfied not to have control of colour processing. I am sure that he would have siezed the opportunities presented by computer post processing, had it been available to him.

In reference to your Adams quote, whether one can "instinctively see better in color"  has no relevance to your comment which implied that b&w photography is inherently gloomy. I'm quite sure Adams and a host of other great photographers would take issue with that point of view.

I was in no way being blasphemous. It's a commonly used phrase. Anyway, if bikes had been invented in Christ's time I'm sure he would have preferred riding one to getting around on a donkey.

This photo of flamingos in Lagoona Rosa WAS NOT TAKEN WITH MY Q3. I took it with my Sony using a tele.  Oh, that I had had a Leica tele!

Of the two, I like the Q3 picture the best.
