A new Claro's is opening in Corona, CA and it was a zoo.  Took us an hour to get our order but, as in the other branches, it was well worth the wait.

Making sandwiches was the bottleneck in the opening days.  I am sure it will improve by the next time we are there.

Visited the Royal Cornwall Show today with my wife and took the Q3 along to record the visit. I wasn't expecting to be in the food tent when the guest of honour was there, nor was I expecting to be able to shake his hand and have a chat with him, he spent a few moments with us. The Duchess of Edinburgh was also there but we didn't get to meet her.

The Q3 was the perfect choice for today, small and inconspicuous with awesome image quality.

Ahh, the joys of 60MP.  Here is a full frame shot of a cactus flower.  Love to take photos of them when we are visiting here in Southern California.  So much different than flowers back home. While I was setting up for the shot (Tripod) a bee flew into the flower and went way deep inside the bloom.  I might have been able to get closer but I was set up for all three blooms and if I moved I know I would miss the bee.  I waited until it flew out and hoped it would not just zoom away.  It cooperated and paused for a second by the pistle of the flower and I was able to grab this shot.

Second iteration.  I thought since the shot was no longer about the three blooms, I would crop a bit and I thought vertical was the way to go.  Here is that attempt.

And then, what the heck.  I've got 60MP and a sharp lens, so let's crop even more.  Third iteration.  Bee was moving a bit so maybe this is too much of a crop as the motion shows quite a bit or it wasn't quite in my plane of focus.  Shutter was 1/320.
