It was very thick indeed at times. The ferry issues are well established now unfortunately. An aging fleet combined with the debacle over replacements is not doing anyone any good. According to posts on FB it does sound as if they were finally sorted out with effort and goodwill and help from all concerned. Not an easy situation though.
