Lumix S50 firmware update?

I recently acquired a Lumix S50mm f/1.8 lens for my Leica SL. I  have been struggling to find out if this lens' firmware has been updated. The SL body has the v.3.8 firmware and the Lumix version is 1.0. Has Panasonic issued an update for that lens?

Did you look on Panasonic’s lens upgrade website? The SX50, if that’s what you have, shows a 1.1 firmware version.

Oh yes, I have spent quite some time on their sites both Leica and Pana. My lens is the S-S50PP. Leica support does not answer and Pana support has just received my request.

As it is a Panasonic product, I would not expect Leica to have the answer. 
Panasonic’s website should have a support page, which should list current firmware for each product. You can download any updates there.

the S-X50 is the Pro 1.4 not the S 1.8

The startpage for Panasonic firmware updates, both lenses and camera's, is here https://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/dsc/download/index4.html . The Lumix S 50mm f1.8 or codename S-S50 is not (yet) on the list, so no firmware available, which means that as of now all 50/1.8's are up to date.
