George Washington dollar coin.

M11M + R-Adapter-M + APO-Extender-R 2x + 100mm APO Macro-R + Elpro 1:2-1:1

I think I maxed out on all the adapters & add-ons for the macro lens. Why? Just because. 😀

The sun is still too low for observing from my backyard, but there is a tiny window of opportunity between two trees at 2:00pm...I couldn't resist trying a snapshot of the large sunspot group 3590. It will be much better placed on April 8th and hopefully surrounded by clear sky as it was today. Leica M11 monochrom inserted into the focuser of a 600mm apochromatic refractor + 2x tele-extender. Image processed and colorized in Adobe Photoshop.

Great photo with a wonderful lens. Use it with the SL2s but have not tried with M camera.

This is awesome! I picked up a used Nikon 500mm and plan on adapting it for the April solar eclipse. 😉
