Simone_DF Posted April 28, 2023 Share #42 Posted April 28, 2023 Turns out Blazaar, formerly named Great Joy, is launching a new 1.5 anamorphic adapter. Small and lightweight, but with a 52mm filter thread. https://blazarlens.com/1-5x-anamorphic-adapter/?fbclid=IwAR3rBboqlzARnEWH-a9_PbFZaKutsEPEpx-UFUqa3lLFqu2eW3PVRcUOrfA

Rather than still photographers, their target audience seems to be videographers who can't / don't want to spend 10k and over for a cine lens. catacore Posted April 30, 2023 Share #48 Posted April 30, 2023 (edited) I uploaded few pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/23361904@N05/albums They are not related to "Leica" in any way (but they are "anamorphic" 😉 ), so maybe they don't belong here... J S H Posted May 29, 2024 Share #56 Posted May 29, 2024 I use both the Venus and Saturn lenses on my Sony bodies. They are really excellent lenses for photography and cinematography, which is my main line of work. These are from the Saturn 35 on a full spectrum body. First shot is IR Chrome and the 2nd is 720 IR. Welcome, dear visitor! Carlos cruz Posted June 7, 2024 Share #57 Posted June 7, 2024 Thought I’ll give you a heads up https://www.instagram.com/panomicron?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== this guy is making anamorphic adapters, shame it’s only 1.33x but seems to be economical way to add some ciné magic to your photos.

J S H Posted June 10, 2024 Share #60 Posted June 10, 2024 4 hours ago, 01maciel said: fabulous work, thanks for showing. Thank you. I am quite amazed by the tiny lineup of Saturn anamorphic lenses. They actually seem to be better corrected than the Venus series lenses, which are twice the size. If anyone is on the fence, don’t hesitate. There isn’t a better full frame anamorphic choice out there for the money, especially considering the small size. They would be great on L mount cameras with anamorphic support. Here are a few full spectrum IR images from the Saturn 75mm. Welcome, dear visitor!
