Jack_Flesher Posted November 7, 2007 Share #10 Posted November 7, 2007 Have to agree... Bought the 12 from Cameraquest a few weeks ago and the 15 has been left in the closet ever since.
Paul Hart Posted November 7, 2007 Share #11 Posted November 7, 2007 Great shot. I love it too. On the M8 it's more fun than the 15. Here's a sample or two, all taken through the glass of the pods on the London eye, so can hardly do justice to its quality...
simon_hughes Posted November 7, 2007 Share #12 Posted November 7, 2007 The 12mm is one of my favorite lenses too. I find the FOV it gives is simply amazing. It's also so small it always travels with me.

chilihead Posted November 8, 2007 Share #15 Posted November 8, 2007 Can you use this 12 on a MP or on M4? Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.
Jack_Flesher Posted November 8, 2007 Share #16 Posted November 8, 2007 Can you use this 12 on a MP or on M4? Does anyone know for sure? Thanks. Absolutely. But IIRC, it shows more fall-off on a full-frame camera and may start to go a bit soft in the very corners.
photorunner Posted November 8, 2007 Share #17 Posted November 8, 2007 Hi Chilihead, I've used this lens as a full 12mm on the M7 and MP quite sucessfully. It's even more impressive in coverage than with the M8 and you don't have to worry about the red or cyan corners or post processing workflow. photorunner Posted November 8, 2007 Share #18 Posted November 8, 2007 Hi Simon, Lovely picture. What settings do you use onyour M8? Did you code the lens as WATEand use IR filter? Do you use C1 and Photoshop? I haven't quite figured out the most efficient way of shooting with this lens and M8 combo. Herb
