THIS THREAD IS NOW CLOSED.

Sadly the end of the month has come around again and the 175th Barnack's Monthly thread has to close but which was filled with a wonderful array of more than 1,000 pictures and interpretations of this month's topic!

Thank you to everyone who helped make April 2023's Barnack's Monthly another success by either posting, thanking, or just looking and I hope you enjoyed doing it and will do so again. A special thank you to those who posted for the first time in the thread and, if you did, please post more because we'd love to see your pictures!

The theme for Barnack's Monthly for May 2023 is: Tree, bush, or hedge  and you can find it at this link.

I really do hope you will follow the link and post some of your pictures.

Thank you all again and see you in the new thread!

Pete.

American Merriam Wild Turkey (Portrait :-)), Taken with a Q2M using the FOTOS app Remote. I placed the camera on a tripod in our yard and waited for the turkeys to visit and feed off the seed and corn we generally feed birds. It's such a treat to use the Remote app where I can get a close-up in spite of the 28mm lens. The birds are very easily scared and will run away if I tried to get close. Q2M, 1/640, f/4.5, ISO 1000, pretty aggressively cropped. Perhaps not to everyone's liking, but I think the birds are very unique and interesting especially to see so much detail.
