Currently they are all taken with a D-LUX 2. More images will follow when I have the time to upload them. Any comments are most welcome. jmr Posted August 21, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 21, 2006 Ed, some good street scenes, especially in Antwerp. Getting up early in the morning evidently pays off, as you have almost no people in your shots; they look very serene as a result. You might go for a different mood, and shoot when it's bustling, just to see the difference. Nice work.
ECliffordSmith Posted August 22, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted August 22, 2006 JR, Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried with limited success to capture shots with people walking about. The trouble is the city does get very very full. We had the tall ships here this weekend and I went to see those both early in the morning and in the aftenoon when there were huge crowds. I always find myself trying to eliminate the crowds from the frame but perhaps I should try and show it how it is instead of trying to present a noise free image. I will upload the results once I have time to compress the images etc. Food for thought, thanks again! PS: I took a look at your website, very very nice images. Thanks, Ed
