Wow..super..Allan..don't worry about any "paucity" of comments..unlike the "old forum" ..unless your image is"stratospheric" in quality or technical achivement...don't expect much..we seem to be on a different "playing field " here.

 

Nice attention to the color balance and scanning is superb..very smooth.

Fabulous light, colors, tones and exposure. I'd like to see a second version with the hanging pictures in focus, too, but I suspect that this is better.

This may seem like an odd comment, but the thing that really sticks out for me in this photograph is the arrangement of the picture frames on the wall... that, and I'm making notes about the composition you've got going on here. This forum trully is a great learning site.

I thought I'd commented on this one earlier - must have imagined it. Nevermind...

 

I like the strong punchy colours; the use of a black border for the shot picks-up nicely the frames of the prints in the picture.

 

Love the composition too.
