Which do use more Q2 or M11

I had the Q2 and the M11 as well. The Q2 was my first Leica and it wowed me. I also liked the lens options with the M. However, I enjoyed the M11 shooting experience much more and I also had an SL2.  I traded my Q2 towards the purchase of a M 1.4 28mm.  I appreciate the Q2, but I don't miss it. I seem to be very content with the SL2 and M11 and my lens options for both.

I have both cameras, but use the M11 so much more than the Q2. Three reasons: (1) l just prefer using the M11, (2) I find the Q2’s 28mm too wide most of the time, and (3) the M11 has better high ISO performance.

That’s what sucked me into Leica. I was super intrigued by the Q2 but was really struggling buying a camera with a fixed 28mm lens. So I bought a m11 with a 35 lux instead. Perfectly rational right? If that Q2 had a 35 I probably would have bought that instead. Though suspect I’d still up with an m11 eventually

I think the M11 is more fun to shoot with the manual handling, also the option to swap lenses;  and I once sold my Q2 to buy a new 28mm M lens.

However I sometimes miss the Q2 as a light hiking and travel camera.

I bought my Q2 because I wanted to get away from the tyranny of buying lenses. I didn’t bother about the focal length as I crop 99% of my photographs regardless of what focal length I’ve used and the ability to crop heavily was part of the attraction. Of course, I then decided to get an M11 simply because the size of the Q2 lens makes it harder to just stash in a jacket pocket or pack into a non-specific camera bag when travelling light. I bought it with a 50mm Summicron which I used exclusively for 12 months and have just bought a 35mm so I’m back in the tyranny of lenses…

It's not even close for me.  The M11, for me, is 10X the camera.  Not only in image IQ but also versatility.  I usually carry both together.  Because of the disparity in use, I'm currently selling my Q2 and am going to use my CL as the companion to the M11.
