cj3209 Posted February 15, 2023 Share #1  Posted February 15, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I shot an SL2 w/an M lens (50mm 'lux) at f1.4 and the picture indicated something like f2.4. How is it possible for a manual aperture lens set at f1.4 to get f2.4? Is the digital f-stop indicator incorrect? Lens can cameras are friendly but they don't talk much. Try the same test on a Cinema Lens, same result.

cj3209 Posted February 15, 2023 Author Share #8  Posted February 15, 2023 Ok ok. I get that there is no connection although the camera knows it's a 50mm 1.4 via the 6-bit coding. Moving on... 😆
