45govt Posted February 13, 2023 Share #1 Â Posted February 13, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello I was wondering if someone can help me find the LTM to M adapter, I have searched e-bay and the ones listed seem to be M to LTM,ie: the screw mount is inside. Maybe I am missing something, I just need one of the cheap ones as I bought a Summaron 3.5 with goggles and case at a antique faire and wanted to try it before I sell the lens. Also, is there a "For Sale" board on this forum, I didn't see one. Thanks for the help. Don EDIT: maybe I am needing an M to LTM adapter now that I am thinking about it. Advertisement Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Hi 45govt, Take a look here LTM to M adapter. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LocalHero1953 Posted February 13, 2023 Share #2 Â Posted February 13, 2023 (edited) I assume you mean a Summaron-M. There is no adapter possible. You can't fit M-mount lenses to Barnacks: the M-Mount is too wide for the LTM 'hole' and the M lens has to be closer to the film than the Barnack/LTM body allows. The Classifieds section is what you want for For Sale. Edited February 13, 2023 by LocalHero1953

luigi bertolotti Posted February 13, 2023 Share #4 Â Posted February 13, 2023 If your goggled Summaron is a 3,5, there is no way to mount it on a LTM body, as above specified... curiosly, the goggled Summaron 2,8, on the contrary, can be mounted on a LTM with a Do-It-Yourself operation (removal of the goggle unit , which exposes a LTM male screw : it works, even if focusing must be done at sight - RF coupling is not correct. Doug A Posted February 13, 2023 Share #5  Posted February 13, 2023 It's certainly not cheap, but an M mount lens can be used with a Visoflex II or III on an LTM body. Of course the 50mm and shorter lenses can only be used for extreme closeups.
dpitt Posted February 14, 2023 Share #6 Â Posted February 14, 2023 If you have a mirrorless digital body, you can use an Adapter M - your mount to test this lens.
