Georgie in the window - Zeiss Jena 35mm f2.4 Flektogon (m42)

I acquired the Flek a few months ago, but only got around to stretching its legs last week. poor Georgie got drenched en route and her hair got a tad wild as it dried🤪

the room was very small, even the 35mm felt very tight in this space. I couldn't fit Georgie, me and the LED panel in the space, so we ended up ditching the constant light and just used the window

all the images were shot using the m246. at f2.8, the Flek performed well at least to my eyes. it's easily sharp enough for portraits. the vintage rendering looks nice too although the composition makes it hard to tell (does the foreground on camera left look a tad nervous? hard to tell... more investigation may be needed, but it could just be the structure of the wood grain)

obviously there is no RF coupling and everything was done using the EVF with 5x magnification
