motdarnoc Posted January 11, 2023 Share #1 Posted January 11, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I shoot a lot of slower shutter speeds. FOTOS is ideal because I put the camera (M10R) on a low tripod for example, and I can stand and control everything. My question is this: is there a way, or a setting, etc, that will speed things up? There seems to be quite a lag between the time I touch the remote and when the shutter actually fires. Also a lag from the time the shutter closes until the camera is ready for the next shot. Any solutions or thoughts? Thanks!

M11 for me Posted January 11, 2023 Share #2 Posted January 11, 2023 When I think of my M11 then the actual release happens immediately after I have pressed the release button on the phone. The delay is minimal.
motdarnoc Posted January 12, 2023 Author Share #3 Posted January 12, 2023 M11forme, thanks for the post. Makes me wonder if my issue is an M10R issue, or an interface issue, or an iphone issue, or… it takes a full second for the shutter to fire. Anyone with an M10R with this issue? dugby Posted January 13, 2023 Share #4 Posted January 13, 2023 Last week I did use the remote feature of Fotos and recall that the shutter action was close to occurring less that 1/2 sec from execution.
