I never thought this day would come, but I've listed my beloved M Monochrom (M9) version for sale in the Classified section of this forum.  New gear on the horizon.

I hope you will not regret it. Many do after a while. M9M is unique...good luck

Did it sell Tim?

I was thinking of putting mine on the market too because like you I have the M10M, the M10P plus I've also got the M10D as well so it all felt like too much "stuff". But then a friend in Cape Town asked to borrow the M9M for a long term project and I thought "why not". It's sort of like selling it but it's on a long return string if I weaken and want to pull it back!

did you pull it back after that time?

Just in case any of us needs a reminder that the M Monochrom mk1 is a tremendous camera, here is a short video of Sarah and Jeff Ascough out on the streets of Blackpool with their M9M cameras. They're shooting those camera as they were intended to be used, and making it look easy, when we all know that it's anything but.

Amazing results - which also show, that it`s not all about shooting wide open !

Absolutely. There's real atmosphere and composition in most of those shots. So hard to get with that style of photography.

It is, yes. But I have to admit, Using my MA is much more pleasure and I smile inside with every exposure which I don't have that way with my M9M...It is emotional and has nothing to do with the amazing M9M !

For me it’s perfect on screen, but for printing it might need some extra pp. Because the foreground is a bit dominant.

Thank you so much for the feedback! Take care!
