I opened the image in Photoshop and just did a bit of dodging in the shadows. Otherwise, the tones looked really good to me straight OOC. The lens was the Voightlander 35mm Ultron II asph, one of the new vintage line with black paint over brass. Welcome, dear visitor! I don't disagree with that at all, but the M9M is no slouch in that regard.
