Wee story behind the snap for anyone remotely interested; I had popped in to his workshop this lunchtime to get some spare house-keys cut. When he saw the camera he asked whether he might hold it as he had never held 'a real Leica' before. Chatting over (he is a keen photographer) and transaction concluded I asked whether he'd mind if I grabbed a quick snap of him 'at his place of work' and he was delighted with the offer. I dropped off a pair of 12"x10" prints with him a bit later on and, fortunately, he was clearly pleased with the results......otherwise things might have been slightly embarrasing. Philip. Philip. * The 'coding' on the Monochrom was still set, manually, for a 50mm f1.0 Noctilux. Interestingly the inevitable vignetting which always occurs with the optical design of the 21 S-A when used on a (pre-M10) Digi-M has been corrected to a remarkably acceptable degree; there has been no post-prod alteration done in this regard on this snap whatsoever. Very nice result. I would assume the vignetting with both lenses is similar enough that the same correction works for each one. I am constantly forgetting to enter the lens ID manually on my M9M.

Thank you, Brent, for the kind words; it is appreciated. I, too, am constantly forgetting to set lens codings primarily because my 'main' snapping body is the M-D Typ-262 which, not having a screen, doesn't allow me the opportunity to do so at all. Previously when using the 21 f4 S-A (if I remembered) I had been using the earliest 21mm setting (f2.8 : 11134) but from now on I'll use the f1.0 Noctilux instead as, AFAICT, it is more successful in dealing with the "Non-retrofocus-Lens-Meets-Micro-lens" phenomenon. Thanks again! Philip. 1

fotografr Posted August 17, 2022 Share #3729 Posted August 17, 2022 This is kind of mind blowing. I used the Photoshop neural filters to colorize a photo of two guys at a farmers market stand a few weeks ago, but until today I hadn't tried it on anything else. I just decided to see what it would do with the above image so I opened the neural filters dialog box, made one click and instantly got the result you see here. Hard to believe this is from my MM1. I would be happy to hear Just click on Help in the menu along the top, then click Photoshop Help. In the search bar that comes up, write in "Neural Filters," and it will come right up. It's all very intuitive from there.

Checked all the presets without success. Maybe you can purchase this in an additional "style package", but as far as I checked, there is no conversion from b/w Into color.
