If anyone is interested, I got featured on the Leica blog today. It's a mix of film and digital pictures taken around my home city of Glasgow -

What I've always liked about the M Monochrom mk1 is that, especially at higher ISOs, the images from that camera sit quite nicely alongside those shot on black and white film.

Absolutely superb!

 

Chiaroscuro, implied motion, texture. Love the moment caught with the rear toepoint and resultant shadow. The hair glow adds more again as does its source.

 

A real triumph.
