And Doubtful Sound.

Thanks for these. I did much of my growing up (not that it had much effect) down in Southland and the Lakes District. My Uncle runs / ran a camp in at Doubtful Sound, which is a truly delightful place. Our youngest daughter's first experience of snow was when we climbed one of the mountains at Doubtful Sound to experience a beautiful Sun snow shower in a hidden valley far above the camp.

Excellent work, Printmaker. The Monochrom is a good fit for the Southern latitudes.

Thanks. My M9 was in the shop getting a new sensor so the Monochrom got a workout. When I get my M10, I'll pack both.

It was stormy for most of this trip, hence the brooding skies. It was an absolute deluge the first week on the North Island. Flooding and rock slides made it hard to get around and hard to shoot. But it gives me a great excuse to return! And your world class wine is unforgettable. Must drink more!

The Monochrom type 1 photo thread has 212, 385 views. The Monochrom type 2 photo thread has 33,262 views. Granted the type 1 thread has been around longer, neverthess this is huge difference in numbers. I'm a bit baffled as to why Leica doesn't pay any attention to this, clearly there is a market for CCD sensor cameras. Any thoughts?

Don't ask me why I shot this photograph, that old tool box simply caught my eye.
