Too busy. I am going to be photographing in the Kingston penitentiary, built 1835, and closing in September. It has never really been properly photographed in its entire history, and I feel a sense of responsibility, and I shall dealing with the life of the inmates as well as the architecture. There will be both a book and a show. I have a whole slew of other projects, including one on the great Slovenian architect Joze Plecnik, so I am going to have to stay off the internet, which has a habit of consuming time. Cheers to all.

I passed by a local restaurant on the way home from a local fair. It was dark and I was happy to have my MM with me.

Dierk-

You watch shot with the 60mm 2.8 has caught my attention. What lens adapter did you use and how was focusing/exposure affected?

Thanks,

John,

I use a cheap adapter (about 50€), the focusing of the lens down to 30cm is easy and you just measure the distance, set the distance on the lens (it is marked down to 30cm) and correct it by try and error (I use a macro focusing rail) - in analog times just useless (even with Polaroids).

Exposure:

I use two flashes (Nikon SB800 with cheap "Radio Speedlite Trigger" for camera and flash). I set the flashes on "A" and use the good old automatic function of the flash, we used decades ago. You set the aperture of the camera on the flashes - and correct it, if necessary. Or you use the manual mode of the flashes.

Question to the forum:

is there any radio trigger for Leica TTL on the market??
