Not a lot of contrast on a very cloudy dull day  but plenty sharp enough

Thanks for sharing.  There may be some nostalgia for old glass but, for me, many simply degrade the capability of our equipment.  Fun, for me, is the sharp, contrasty capability of a great summicron or summilux.  I'm in if the lens can perform close to current fare.

Thanks for showing us what this oldie can do.

Contrast is low, but it is easy to add contrast in PP. Removing contrast when you need to is harder IMO.  Maybe the OP wanted to show us what you get to work with?

Please post the result after PP, and then everyone can judge  if they can make it work for them.

My Summicrons from the 50’s and 60’s have some quality and character that I do not find in modern ASPH lenses. That, combined with the portablity of a collapsible lens is reason enough for me to own them.
