M10D battery capacity

Hi,

I just brought a second-hand M10D.  This is my first time using M10 series. It seems the battery dry out quickly (around 120-150 shots without WiFi connection). Is that normal? or I should buy a new battery? It is costly.

120-150 shots is insufficient, I get around 600 shots with a fully charged battery and auto-off set to 2min. Try to "educate" your battery by repeated charge/discharge cycles, if not successful, most probably a new battery will help, provided there is no malfunction inside the camera.

i usually got 300-400 shots in succession leaving about 30-35% battery, occasional chimping

Yes definitely needing a new battery I think. A day or 2 of casual shooting is fine with the 10-D. But wifi is a battery killer
