The photo below is  taken with M11 Summicron 35asph v2.. I’ve attached the raw file in the link.. as you can see on the left side of the raw photo there are some lines and hazes.. this is shot wide open at f2.. what are those lines? Is it normal.. in some of my photos I see them.. but when I edit it those lines have gone.. and you can see the edited version below.. (The reason I have given the link of the raw file, I can not upload it here due to big size of the photo)

Do you have any idea? Should I worry?  Is it the thing called color banding? Thanks..

The raw file link (please make it bigger to see the lines) :  https://www.hizliresim.com/cezfqqx

And here is the edited version:

I think you need to be more clear on how you got this photo.

What you have uploaded is not the original JPG or the DNG.

What you are showing in the link is banding. it can be cause by a preview that a software can make at 8bit, that why when you edit a raw file it goes away.

What software are you using?

Nothing to worry about. This looks like the sort of banding that you get in a low res jpeg preview.

My guess is that when you open the raw file in the develop module, it goes away.

This type of colour posterisation should only be visible in compressed JPEG files, or in 8 bit files that have had more substantial editing like removing a strong WB tint.

It's very possible that It may look to be in the DNG file on import as the DNG will contain a very compressed full res embedded preview. However, the raw converter should be replacing these low quality embedded previews with its own higher quality previews after import or just before editing.

What RAW software are you using? And perhaps provide a link to the DNG file via dropbox or wetransfer.

This is another low quality jpeg. Which is why you’re seeing those broken shadows. It’s a 700kb preview file.

In my ipad pro the file is shown as raw file and I uploaded it to we transfer.. but now I realized it’s still the preview file and low quality.. and now I opened it on MacBook Pro and those lines are gone.. thanks for you advices ..
