Daniel Ortego Posted October 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is it just me, or is there no way to refresh a page on the forum? I have to click a title section each time I want to check for updated posts within a particular thread. Likewise, I thought there might be a forum management section so maybe this is it? I know, but being new can suck. Perhaps when I receive my new M8, it will come with a jar of gray matter that I can smear over my head. erl Posted November 4, 2007 Share #7 Posted November 4, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) While we're at it, (to save me being embarrassed by starting a new thread on it:eek: ), How does one stop 'timing out' on the forum? Whenever I type a long (for me; slow typist) post, invariably I have timed out and I have to log in again ... and type the post again. Often I don't bother. Frustrating with a capitol "F". andybarton Posted November 4, 2007 Share #8 Posted November 4, 2007 What software are you using, Erl? Dial-up or ADSL or something more exotic?
stumac Posted November 4, 2007 Share #9 Posted November 4, 2007 Being a one fingered typist I also have Erls problem, clicking the "remember me" box in the log in field seems to fix it. Using Firefox with XP and ADSL. Regards, Stuart
erl Posted November 4, 2007 Share #10 Posted November 4, 2007 I'm using Opera browser, Win XP on a cable ADSL connection.
LUF Admin Posted November 4, 2007 Share #11 Posted November 4, 2007 Erl, do you use the "Remember me" option? This should fiy it... Best regards Andreas
