Guest menze_as

you forgot the ones calling for the moderator to close the thread or eliminate the trolls :D

... and the ones who claim that they are professional bulb changer, and therefore have to state that it is absolutely wrong to change the bulb from above - one has to do it from right hand :D

... and the ones who say "why changing the bulb - let it be, energy anyway costs too much" ...

Greetings, Astrid

Not to mention the ultra-cautious member (quite possibly me) who feels that it is safer to return the whole bayonet fitting to Solms for them to do it.

Or me, having once had the bulb section come away from the mount when attempting to remove it, so I had to fiddle about to extract the wretched thing.

Long time ago now, but it comes back every time a bulb doesn't come out cleanly. :)

Hi Harmsr,

The lightbulb, it is commonly knqwn, is binary. See for the 6 bit code on the flange to convince yoursef. Candles are not, they were invented before the industrial revelution took place.

The first purist already emerged! Read the alarming post Gylee sent in.

Wilfredo - Those are Liberal Episcopalians.

It also takes three Conservative Episcopalians: One to change the bulb; one to complain about how the older light bulbs were better than the new; one to mix the proper Martinis (1/3 Vermouth, 2/3 Gilby's Gin). After all, we must observe tradition!
