imported_peter_m Posted September 24, 2007 Share #8 Posted September 24, 2007 than i think mine has a problem.Possible? marco Are you turning the camera off when you don't use it? If you have the camera in the bag the shutter button my be slightly depressed and the meter will be on. Peter
thrid Posted September 24, 2007 Share #9 Posted September 24, 2007 >The M7 is a 'trouble camera' in any aspect! Not true. Mine has been running flawless for a few years and it hasn't exactly been craddled. I get about 50-70 rolls out of a set of high quality batteries. The batteries that come with the camera will not last for more than 5-10 rolls. Are you turning the camera off when you put it in your bag? If the shutter release is depressed it will continue to drain power.

.oesse Posted September 25, 2007 Author Share #12 Posted September 25, 2007 Than i think the best thing to do is to go to the Italian Leica Importer and ask fod a check. Thanks to everybody! marco Marco Giardini Photography
thrid Posted September 25, 2007 Share #13 Posted September 25, 2007 i always switch the camera off when i'm not using it.What are the "good batteries" you mention? thanks marco By good quality batteries I mean a major brand like Duracell or Energizer etc. Try to get Lithium type batteries if you can. They store longer and work better in the cold. If the camera is burning through a set of good quality batteries in 8-10 rolls, something isn't right and it needs to be serviced. stuny Posted September 25, 2007 Share #14 Posted September 25, 2007 Marco - A lovely website. I strongly urge you to make the location of the "previous" and "next" buttons in exactly the same place on every screen. As it is now one has to move the mouse pointer with most image changes, and sometimes (on a 17" screen) scroll to find the buttons.

I strongly urge you to make the location of the "previous" and "next" buttons in exactly the same place on every screen. As it is now one has to move the mouse pointer with most image changes, and sometimes (on a 17" screen) scroll to find the buttons. I know, is something i should do. But if you click on the image you go directly to the next one. Unfortunately you have to clik on "previous" to move back...
