Set WiFi band to 24 GHz (instead of 5 GHz). Don't understand why; perhaps I am using Broadband internet home.

you phone probably have only 2.4 option. newer phone have 5 GHz what has faster download speeds.

You home broadband doesn't make a difference as the connection of you phone changes to the M11 wifi.

Thanks, out of curiosity, I shall switch back to 5GHz and give a try.

I know this is an older thread but just in case anyone else stumbles on it trying to get connection. The only thing that worked for me was to update to the latest firmware via SD Card and then after that it worked straight away with no issues (on Android). I didn't have to change any settings, it just worked as expected.

Also, if my memory card is in the camera (256GB Sandisk Extreme Pro 170MB/s) then the camera will not connect to the fotos app. If I remove the memory card so it's just the internal memory then it connects and works perfectly. Seems the M11 is picky about memory cards?

EDIT: While downloading the JPG files from the internal memory, the Fotos app constantly crashes. Anything software based, Leica really seem to struggle with. :( Not sure how to get this to be working and stable. I'm using a Pixel 7 with Android 13 and the latest Fotos app with Firmware 1.6.0.0.
