kirkmc Posted September 11, 2022 Share #1  Posted September 11, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've never done anything with styles or presets, but I'm interested in trying to figure out a way to get a consistent look to my photos. I use Capture One, and all the styles are for color originals; the black and white styles involve adjustments to the color channels. I'm trying to figure out how to work with styles that only affect monochrome photos. I'm mostly curious about how this works, and perhaps have some desire to have a style that emulates Tri-X Pan, but I don't really understand how to work with styles and how to create them. I know it's a question of saving adjustments, but when I edit photos, I edit differently for each photo. Any thoughts on developing something for more consistency?

Anakronox Posted September 11, 2022 Share #2  Posted September 11, 2022 How about make your own?  For each of the tools, you have the option of saving settings as a camera default.  So for example if you tweak the luminance curve, HDR sliders, and others, you can thus make your own preset as a starting point.  This should give you the consistency you’re looking for.
Ba Erv Posted September 12, 2022 Share #3  Posted September 12, 2022 C1 was video tutorials on creating styles on their website.  Maybe start there for the basics. It’s actually quite simple.
