Not that I'm aware, but I will say as a Q2 and x100 user that the AF in the Q2 is significantly more reliable and I don't feel the need to check its done its job the way you might want to with the x100, which seemed to randomly miss focus in what I would consider to be good conditions.

I don’t have the Q anymore so I’m not 100% sure in the current firmware but the magnification function is available in the Q2. You can set the right wheel button to magnify in the “Custom Control” in the menu.  Under the “Right Wheel Button” settings simply toggle “Magnification” to “On”.  Long press the wheel button and select “Magnification”. After the camera autofocuses on a subject you can press the wheel button to get a magnified view.  Toggle the Set button in the center of the control pad to magnify at x3 or x6.

I'm trying this on my Q2M, and all that happens when I set the right wheel button as you explain, then press the button, is an overlay on the LCD or in the OVF saying Auto Magnification ON. I have nothing else set to that button; when I had two things set to it, pressing would just bring up a menu to choose which one of them I wanted to activate.

“Auto Magnification” isn’t the correct option. Scroll down a bit further on the list (2nd page) and you will find “Magnification”, that the one you want to enable.

Thanks! What is the auto magnification feature? Since it wasn't doing anything when I pressed the button...

Auto magnification strictly works in manual focus mode. With “Auto Magnification” turned on in the “Focus Assist” settings the view will magnify as soon as the manual focus is turned.
