Andan was enjoying her afternoon tea when I noticed the sidelight accentuating her features and the contrast of the green trees in the background and her pink sweater.

I picked up the M10R and changed the 35mm to a 75 Apo Summicron.

I enjoy taking portraits with this 75mm. I must say that it is sharp, maybe a bit too sharp for portraits. I often add a bit of grain in the postproduction and soften the image slightly.

Reminds me when I used a 150mm T* lens on the Hasselblad. I often added a SOFTAR filter to break the sharpness and create a soft, almost imperceptible, halo. Around the highlights.

M10 R 75mm Apo Summicron. Aperture used here: F5.6

It is beautiful portrait! Everything is in balance on this picture!

Agree about 75 mm! Me myself, I have Summarit 75/2.4 which I've bought recently for reduced price - new one! Although it doesn't soften out-of-focus areas as smoothly as APO Summicron, it render perfectly. I really like it, and it will stay with me!

Thank you Matija for your comment. I did own a 75 Summarit a few years ago. This lens made me discover the 75 mm as a portrait lens. It is a beautiful lens, easier to get  focus in my opinion than the Apo. Regards. Carl.
