Recently, I fixed the bad light leaks of an old R4-s that wasn't used since 1993. It took me about one hour to accomplish that myself without any knowledge.

I have done the same on a few cameras, the old foam perishes over time. Newer stuff should last longer. It's a simple fix (apart from the foam that some SLR's have in the mirror box).

Just do a search on eBay. There are a couple of vendors who sell quality products there.  I've bought a number of light seal kits from vendors who sell there over the years.   A new light seal kit for an R4 will run about $13.
